Apply to the top of your upper and lower lid lash line using the applicator brush. The formula is slightly gelled to prevent product from running into the eye area. The gel should dry quickly after application. Allow the product to dry before using make up or mascara. You will notice that mascara will glide easier on your lashes after application of the LASHURIOUS Lash Lengthener. To see quicker results use morning and night after cleansing your face. Using this product daily will give you a consistent thick lash line.

EYELASH GROWTH CYCLE
There are three stages of hair growth: anagen (active/growth phase), catagen (transition/regression phase) and telogen (resting phase). Hair on the eyelashes and eyebrows has a very short active anagen phase of about 30-45 days.
This explains why eyelashes are shorter than scalp hair.
Approximately 60-80% of the eyelashes are in the anagen phase. The entire duration of cycle for the eyelashes is 3-4 months, whereas the cycle for scalp hair is about 3-6 years.
Myristoyl Pentapeptide 16 and Myristoyl Pentapeptide 17 are both revolutionary blends of biocompatible (compatible with the natural makeup of your skin) lipo-peptides. The lipid tail of these unique peptides is highly biocompatible with the skin’s natural structure. This promotes easy absorption.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Amino acids are the basic building blocks of proteins and many other different types of organic molecules. Peptides are frequently created when the body digests proteins. Many types of peptides are readily and rapidly absorbed by the blood stream, making them very effective as skincare ingredients.
Lashurious Treatment’s clinically active ingredients are Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, and Myristoyl Pentapeptide 16. These ingredients significantly stimulate Keratin genes that lengthen lashes and brows. Peptides help stimulate hair growth at the follicle.
The second benefit of Lashurious is the blend of antioxidants including Grape, Coffee Bean, Green Tea, Mangostine and more. All help to protect the lash and brow area from environmental free-radical damage.
Resveratrol is also an important ingredient. It is one of the most powerful antioxidants, high in proanthocyanidins (flavanols) and usually found in whole fruit, fruit juice, and strawberry and wild blueberry pulp. Bioflavonoids are naturally occurring plant compounds and act primarily as plant pigments and antioxidants. They exhibit a host of biological activities, most notably for their powerful antioxidant properties. Bioflavonoids work with other antioxidants to offer a system of protection. Numerous studies have shown their unique role in protecting Vitamin C from oxidation in the body allows the body to reap more benefits from Vitamin C.
Despite the increasing popularity and prevalence of eyelash growth products, few women are completely satisfied with the length of their natural eyelashes. I, for one, needed to allocate the most time out of my morning beauty routine to the mascara wand. I have tried fake long lashes; it’s discouraging to know that, as soon as I rub on eye makeup remover at night, my lashes will return to sorry stubs, instead of that doe-like youthful set we are all after.
I like the idea of using an eye product with the lack of frightening prostaglandins (the culprit behind the eyelash growth controversy) found in Latisse™ or Lilash. Latisse™ retails for $160.00 and is prescription only.
Latisse™; use may cause darkening of the eyelid skin, which “may” be irreversible. Although not reported in clinical studies, Latisse™ use may also cause increased brown pigmentation of the colored part of the eye, which is likely to be permanent. Other side effects after using Latisse™ solution are an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids. All of these effects are a gamble that I wouldn’t like to take.
